Welcome to the SN6Royals website
 
The Royals were founded in the year 2000 following the merger of the Shrivenahm Royals and the Watchfield Eagles.
 
The club was established to provided football for the children of the surrounding villages, however with our links to the JMSC at Watchfield we have had children play for the Royals from every one the the worlds five continents.
 
One of the clubs aims was to see players progress from youth football to the Shrivenham Senior teams. During the  2006/07 season five boys achieved this goal and played for the Shrivenham Seniors 'A' side in the North Berks League Division Two.
 
During the 2007/08, as well as gaining experience with the Shrivenham Reserves in the Hellenic Reserve Division Two West, Jonathan has made a substitute appearance for the Senior side in the Hellenic Premier Division.
 
 
 
 
2008 saw the completion of the new pavilion at Watchfield.  After many years of hard work, The project masterminded by Marcus Witherow of the Watchfield Parish Council was finally completed in May and will be ready for the new season which starts in September. Owned by Watchfield Parish Council and part funded by the Football Foundation the Royals now have a facility to be proud of.
